Like many women I struggled with dieting and weight loss in my 20’s and early 30’s. Eating rabbit food and sometimes spending hours a day exercising, I still didn’t have the body I wanted or deserved.
Finally, after much soul searching and trial and error I discovered some home truths about diet and training that made a significant and momentous difference not only to my body, but to my confidence, self-esteem and well-being.
Meanwhile (in my spare time!) in 2003 I created Ideal Bodies Online, Australia’s first online personal training website. My very first client (Kim, a breast cancer survivor and still a great friend), went on to win the same body transformation competition I did – and the rest is history.
Helping other women achieve their fitness and fat loss goals grew from a hobby and favourite pastime to an incredible business where my team and I have trained, coached and mentored many people to achieve the body of their dreams in a matter of weeks. Ordinary people, achieving extraordinary things – simply by putting a well-designed plan into action and believing in themselves.
But now as a busy mum, I closely identify with other busy women who are juggling several commitments and never enough time in the day! Oh do I ever!
I’m fortunate that my husband likes cooking, but he’s not interested in ‘diet meals’. So previously, if my diet specified chicken, broccoli and rice – I was on my own! I figured there had to be a better way. And THIS is it, my 40 Day MAX Fat Burn program!
